Zoo Lion is a 19 year old girl who makes collages out of pornography and old issues of national geographic, they are weird and pervy and we kind of love them. We stared at them while asking her about her process, her obsession with porn, her favorite era in photographed fucking, and about a time where she thought she was going to be killed.

This anonymous, photocopied zine includes actual scanned pages from police training handbooks on the left side of each spread. On the right are instructions on the same subject for non-cops. It goes into detail with everything from street-level tactics, to making body armor and gas masks, to disabling vehicles.
There is no words to describe the joy I felt after two days of the Based God. He’s the most charismatic real dude I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The positivity he exudes is literally infectous.

In New York I always feel amazed at how many parallel realities and uses of the city as an “arena” are simultaneously happening at once. The guy biking past you might be a weed messenger, the guy sitting on a bench might be an undercover cop, the dude standing right next to you on the train could be on his way to a nudist convention, and the guy at the coffee shop could be a member of a cult or secret society.
