Think about the free shit you get when you pledge to vote. Back in the MTV days, it was one of those stupid “Vote or Die” t-shirts. Nowadays you’ll get a pin, t-shirt, sticker, or some shit (and to be honest, the only political t-shirt I would ever wear would be Mr. Fuckin’ Clinton playing the shit outta the saxophone.) If you’re lucky, you’ll get to watch a shitty free Arcade Fire or The National show (or Ted Nugent if you’re Republican.)

However, if you lived in Brazil, you’d get a WAAAAAY better reward for pledging to vote. In the town of Itacoatiara in Northwest Brazil, a politican named Carme Cristina da Silva Lima gave potential voters bags of coke in order to secure their vote. On Sunday, she was busted with 11 bags of coke after police followed her handing out the bags. According to Brazilian police, her boyfriend was also a known drug dealer who supplied the local prisons. She was charged with electoral corruption and drug distribution.
What a way to convince voters, huh? I bet if Ron Paul gave out coke, he’d have already won the entire fucking election, but you ain’t one hunna, Ron. Not at all.
