Many People in Afghanistan Haven’t Heard of 9/11 (VIDEO)

No matter what corner of the country you’re from, you know what today is. Whether you want to forget it or recognize it with sorrow or recovery, you know what happened eleven years ago. And it’s not news that people overseas know what happened either. But that depends on how you use the word “overseas”. Journeyman Pictures posted a video wherein Afghans are shown photos from that tragic day and the results are not what most would expect. At first, it’s not too surprising that the younger ones didn’t recognize the event, but even the elders and some of the police force and not a clue what they were looking at. It’s a piece of history that 92% of them are not only not familiar with, but are incapable of believing. After watching this video, it’s needless to say that the Afghanistan that most Americans see is very different from the one that the people who live there see.
